Despite his bug-like shape, Hammer Bro is straight up one of the most powerful players in the whole game. He’s similar to Kritter in that he’s has great home run potential combined with a lethal super dive in the field. However, Hammer Bro hits dingers even more consistently than Kritter. Also, his super dive might have an even larger radius, but it’s hard to know for sure. Another reason the Throw Bros are so successful in the field is their chemistry. They have chem with Magikoopa, Bowser, and Bowser Jr. Of course, this lets them fit seamlessly onto the bowser team, but more importantly, putting Bowser Jr in center allows the bros to roam the corner outfield. They aren’t fast, but their hammer throws cover so much ground that they can catch most balls that come to them. Hammer bro also has an elite throwing arm, making it tough to advance bases against this outfield.
